Working Together Towards a Healthier Community

On 17 August 2026, Vcare Pharmacy Bandar Seri Putra had the opportunity to collaborate with Perpustakaan Desa Kampung Sungai Kembong Hilir for a community health initiative, “Jom Sihat Bersama!”
Held from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon at Perpustakaan Desa Kampung Sungai Kembong Hilir, the programme brought together Vcare Pharmacy and the local community with a shared goal — to encourage greater awareness and care for personal health.
Making Health Awareness Part of the Community
As part of the initiative, Vcare Pharmacy Bandar Seri Putra contributed health screening services to help community members gain a better understanding of several important health indicators.
The screenings included:
- Blood Glucose
- Blood Pressure
- Lipid Profile
- Uric Acid
- Haemoglobin (HB)
Beyond the screening itself, the programme created an opportunity for our pharmacy team to interact with community members, share health information and encourage them to pay closer attention to their health.
A Small Contribution Towards a Healthier Community
We believe that community health begins with awareness.
Simple steps such as knowing our blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid and haemoglobin levels can encourage us to be more proactive about our health and lifestyle.
Through initiatives like this, Vcare Pharmacy hopes to play a small but meaningful role in encouraging individuals and families to take better care of their health.
